Serendipity Service Contract

To reserve your wedding date with Serendipity, a $400.00 deposit is required with this signed contract. This fee is non refundable. Clients may transfer the deposit to another calendar date, subject to Serendipity¹s availability.

Serendipity’s minimum service fee is $120.00 for wedding day service. This fee covers no less than one hour of service and up to three hours of service. Additional hours of service will be at a rate of $50.00 per hour.

This is a service agreement contract. A final price contract will be agreed upon and signed within 60 days prior to the reserved wedding date.

Serendipity guarantees the prices on the original estimate for one year from the date on the estimate.

Serendipity¹s floral estimates for wedding dates occurring 14 days prior to or 7 days after floral holidays, will reflect a 25% increase
over normal floral mark ups. These holidays are: Christmas, Valentines Day, Easter, Mothers day and Thanksgiving.

The final price contract must be signed by the client no less than 60 days prior to the above wedding date. Changes within 10% of the final price contract are permissible. This allows for last minute table count changes, additional corsages, etc...

If a final contract has not been agreed upon within 60 days of the clients wedding, the most current estimate will be used as the final purchase agreement. In order for Serendipity to adequately prepare labor and weekend schedules, large omissions or additions to the final contract are not permissible.

Serendipity requires full payment of the final price contract fourteen days prior to the contracted wedding date.

It is understood that the client will be responsible for payment of the total amount due on the final agreement contract, regardless of cancellation of wedding, natural disaster, or other unforeseen circumstances. In the event full payment is not received, the client will be responsible to pay additional interest charges and any collection expenses incurred by Serendipity.

Serendipity photographs their floral designs whenever possible. Theses photos may be used in future advertising for Serendipity. Clients not wishing to have photos of the wedding used in serendipity advertising are required to issue a statement in writing along with this contract to Serendipity.

Serendipity guarantees all flowers to be of the freshest quality upon delivery to the wedding site and reception site.

Serendipity cannot accept responsibility for mishaps or delays caused by other wedding service providers, or bridal party members, which may interfere with proper and timely floral set up.

Occasionally extreme weather interference may delay or hinder Serendipity's ability to set up all contracted floral items. Serendipity cannot refund money for any unused floral items. Serendipity will advise clients during the initial consultations about common weather problems and will make suggestions to the client about avoiding common wedding day weather issues.

Due to the perishable nature and variances of fresh flowers, combined with the foremost need to match specific colors palettes, there is always a possibility that last minute substitutions may become necessary. Serendipity will take all precautions to avoid substitutions. In the event that a substitution is necessary, serendipity will use only similar or better quality product from the client’s final order.

Serendipity will order all flowers and supplies upon receipt of final payment. Final payments becoming past due may result in necessary substitutions and omissions from the final contract.

Serendipity cannot deliver any portion of contracted floral items until full payment has been received.

In the event a wedding is canceled or postponed within three months of the contracted wedding date, all estimated revenue reflected in the clients most current written estimate, will be required in full by Serendipity.
